Christopher recently accepted a commission to produce a large painting of Embassy Court, the famous Art Deco apartment block on Brighton sea front. It was designed in 1935 by Wells Coates and this glamorous building was once home to the actor Rex Harrison and the comedian Max Miller. Bluestorm Limited was established to supervise the much needed restoration of this impressive building. They were assisted by Sir Terence Conran's architectural wing Conran & Partners to supervise the project and after many months of work, Embassy Court once again sits as an icon of twentieth century design.

Christopher visited the building where he met the chaiman of Bluestorm; Emma Jinks who gave him a guided tour to ascertain the best angle to paint it from. Christopher soon realised that it was the breathtaking reinforced concrete stairwells that were the most emblematic aspect of the building. The finished painting shows Bluestorm's Media and Arts Director Roweena Easton enjoying the views from the balcony. The finished piece is 30"x30" inches and is Acrylic on canvas. High quality prints are available from the artist.
